The SKB Shotguns used to be made in Japan. Currently they are manufactured in Turkey. The anniversary edition of the 585 Over/Under Shotgun was manufactured in Japan. I bought this shotgun used, but I have never shot it while in my possesion. It is still in excellent condition. This is the information that I found concerning the 150th anniversary edition...

To commemorate SKB's 150th Anniversary they created a very limited number of High Grade 585 shotguns (70 28" 12ga. models , 20 26" 12 ga. models and 60 20 ga. models) totaling 150 units .
The low profile and distinctively shaped receiver have become hallmark features recognized world wide .
