PRICE REDUCED!
Hey there and thanks for looking!
I figured I'd try for a local sale here on TGT before I go through the pain of listing it on GunBroker.
I'm offering for your consideration a very clean Nikko model 5000-II Over-Under 12 gauge shotgun with eleven (11) sub-gauge tubes. The shotgun has a 28 inch barrels choked to "skeet" as well as the following sub-gauge insert tubes:
410 gauge skeet (2)
28 gauge skeet (2)
28 gauge modified
28 gauge improved cyl.
20 gauge skeet (2)
20 gauge full
20 gauge modified
20 gauge improved cyl.
The individual tubes are pencil-engraved with the gauge, choke, and which barrel (upper/lower) they fit. The set also includes a pair of chambers with extractors for each gauge that are also pencil-engraved with the barrel each fits.
Set also includes a pair of heavy 12 ga. snap caps and a very nice fitted hard case to hold everything.
The shotgun is very similar to the Winchester Model 101 "Pigeon Grade" and was made in the 1980s in Japan by Kodensha in the same factory that made the Winchesters. It was imported by Golden Eagle Firearms in Houston, TX.
I received this shotgun from a family member in 2010, but I never really caught the skeet bug. I've hunted dove with it, but it wasn't ideal [for me] because of the 28" barrels.
Condition is very good with some honest wear on the bottom of the receiver and a couple of dings in the stock.
I took a shitload of photos of the set, but I'm too cheap to pay for more than a basic listing on TGT, so if you need detailed views, I'll have to send you additional photos.
I'm looking to sell to finance a project, but I will also consider interesting trades and/or trade(s) + cash; what do you have? I have a couple hundred rounds of field loads that I can throw in for the right trade deal (check it out in my other listings).
Face to face in Austin ONLY. If the ad is still up, the gun is still for sale. I will ignore low-ball offers and "is it available?" emails. I prefer to meet at the Academy on I-35 at St. Johns or the Academy on 183 at Oak Knoll.
Contact me through the TGT message system, or email me directly at waterlootactical@gmail.com Please use the subject line: "Skeet Set".
Thanks again for looking and I hope to hear from you soon.
