Noveske "Heat" Custom AR-15 in 5.56 for sale in Austin Texas

There are some guns that you show to your friends, and some you show to your enemies. This one is the latter. Excellent condition original Noveske lower with A3 post. The story behind the traditional upper design is that John Noveske, a big fan of the movie "Heat," wanted to build a high quality rifle that reflected the more traditional standards of the venerable M-16 platform as seen in the movie. I purchased this upper about 20 years ago from Noveske direct, but aside from maybe one or two mags through it, it's been a safe queen. I now need money to pay surgery bills, so I'm putting this up for sale, mated to a high end billet lower.
