Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Model 65 Reising

Designed in 1942, during WW2, by Eugene Reising as a .22LR Semi-Auto USMC Trainer Rifle. Used specifically for the USMC to emulate the operation of the new M1 Garand. Many Marines were first trained on the M65 .22 Training Rifle, at a much lesser cost, before being issued their M1 Garand.
