Up for sale is a genuine, historically authentic WWII Soviet Mosin Nagant 91/30 PU Sniper rifle. This is (NOT) a modern commercial clone, replica, or reproduction. Just think of the movie enemy at the gate.
This rifle textbook proof of its original sniper lineage and post war Soviet military re-arsenal history. The left side of the barrel shank features the original factory stamped scope serial number (lined out), with a re-arsenal assigned scope number stamped directly above it. Over the decades the second scope was swapped out which is why the current scope doesn't match either number. Research shows this is also common.
The rifle itself boasts crisp, original factory stamped matching serial numbers on the receiver, barrel, bolt, floor plate, and butt plate. No messy forced-matched electro pencil markings on the gun parts. The current PU scope is in excellent functional condition with clear optics, though its serial number is unmatched to the barrel (textbook for these post-war refurbished imports).
This is an incredibly complete, turnkey package perfect for a collector or historic rifle competitor.
