This is a newer Marlin, and not a JM gun.

The action was smoothed and dehorned, the trigger replaced to eliminate "Marlin wobble", the ejector and extractor improved, cross bolt safety deleted, the lever enlarged, all metal parts cerakoted black, and a hand rubbed oil finish added to the wood. The leather ammo carrier and sling are from Lever Gun Leather, and are incredibly nice.

Maybe 50 rounds have been fired through the rifle, and the only wear is on the loading gate, as is to be expected. Will include about 90 rounds of ammo w/ rifle upon sale. This rifle is incredibly accurate, and has no malfunction/performance issues.
