For sale is a Browning Auto-5 in 20 gauge. It was manufactured by Miroku in 1996 and is one of the very few years that they produced the Auto-5 with Invector Plus barrels. The shotgun is in the 98% - 99% range. There is almost no visible wear anywhere on the gun. The only places not pristine are the 3 stock screws on the tang. There is a divot right next to the stock screw on the tang. There is a picture specifically of this as it is the only real issue with the gun.
The original plastic Browning buttplate is on the shotgun. No other buttplate has ever been installed.
The round count for the gun is under 1 flat (250 rounds). All of the springs have been replaced with a rebuild kit from Art's Guns. The old springs and spare parts from the kit are included. 1 box of shells was shot after the rebuild kit installation to ensure that it worked and to have a fond rememberence of the Auto-5 long recoil and that ping when it cycles.
The gun comes with 5 Invector Plus chokes. 5 are blued Browning, 1 is stainless Browning, and 1 is stainless Unknown. Chokes are Cylider, Skeet, Imp. Cylinder x2, Modified, Imp. Modified, and Full. Chart in the pictures show the measured diameters of the chokes as done with a micrometer. That is for reference only and you may get a few thousandths difference if you measure them.
The gun weighs 7.3 pounds with a choke installed.

NOTES: I will only sell in the Austin area or within 30 - 45 miles of Austin. I rarely travel outside of Austin and will not hold the gun until I do. FTF meeting, cash only, and I will require a bill of sale with identification to be completed. If this is a deal breaker for you, I am sorry.
Please bring a gun case with you for the gun.
